Brief
For a Financial Services company, to shift the emphasis of their
Human Resources department from an operational focus to that of
an ‘internal consultant’.
Result
As a result of a consultative process with both Line Management
and the existing Human Resources team, a strategy was developed
and implemented successfully;
- Human Resources support is now provided to each business unit
by a dedicated HR ‘internal consultant’.
- a role profile outlining the core competencies and key behaviours
for an internal HR consultant was created.
- development programmes were put in place to upskill the job
holders.
- tailor made reward and performance management strategy’s
were designed to support the delivery of the required behaviours.
- a roll out programme was developed to ensure Line Management
were aware of the new services.
